Day by day
People who know me know that I have a dislike of sleeping and stay awake for days on end with little or no sleep. What they don't know is that this process of living can only be substantiated by hibrenating on certain days. Today was one of them.
I went to bed at 3:30am this morning which would usually mean I'd be up around 11am or 12pm. Oh no no, you see - after a week of a cumulative 8 hrs of sleep, I used today to fully recharge. I was not awake until 6pm. I did not see Mr. Sun at all today...
So how was my day?
Dark.
Man.. I'm hungry now.

And the beat goes on...
So, thus far, the reaction to Aristotle has been.. get this... entirely positive. Yes. I cannot believe it. I haven't received one "that was positively awful" review yet. Considering after Emulsion being called the worst filmmaker ever in a certain forum (although, I have to say, the people of that forum are whiney bitch anime fans.. and I haven't posted there in years), this was quite refreshing. However, I am debating as to whether it simply goes according to my theory that if you want your film to do well, insert a hamster into it. People love hamsters!
To that end, this review (from StileProjectForum, of all places) was probably my favorite so far:
"Absolutley lovely. I hate film students, all but a few are pretentious twats, and you sir, are part of the select few who have genuine sensibility and talent. I felt real emotion when I was watching that. Good job."
I have had the good fortune of having friends who remind me constantly of how stupid I really am that there's no way I could be a pretentious twat, but just an ordinary twat :)
Thanks for the response everyone, I appreciate it. And if you have negative comments please pass them along to me as well, I can take it. I'm strong!
In other news - episode 25 of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex (first season) has left me a wimpering baby looking for a box of tissues. Tachikomaaaaaa!!!! Noooooooooo! ;_;
