Verrry interesting night this was.

I don't have time to go into detail, but I held a girl all night long, I smell like her pefume, she put her phone number in my cell phone, we kissed and I have a date to go to a movie with her next week. Where the hell did this come from? She loves Bjork, I love Bjork. She loves anime, I love anime. She loves film, I love film. She likes fashion, I like fashion. She wants to study cinematography at Columbia - I want to study directing at Columbia! Ahhh! It's like, insane... like.

I already have that pang of fear and regret, mixed with joy and excitment in the pit of my stomach.

Not to mention - Anime Central 2003 in 7 hours! Ahh! This is all too stressful.

I'll see everyone in a few days! I hope to return with thrilling stories of adventure and intrigue. An erotically charged and action-filled voyage into the abyss of anime fandom. Or.. maybe just a fun con?

Heh - well Stray Radio has certainly become a lesson in humility and dealing with, sometimes hurtful and vindictive, criticism.

It's really quite funny, in a pathetic way. I thought moving away from anime would make for a more accessible show. People may not listen to the show every week, but would instead look at what we were talking about and then decide for themselves if they wanted to listen to that show or not. Sort of like a random magazine on the rack. Take a look and flip through the pages, see some articles you'd like to read then you buy it and read at your leisure. I had hoped Stray Radio would be like that, but - haha - it certainly hasn't turned out that way. Listeners are starting to drop like flies. Example? Monday of last week we had 284 listeners. This monday? 54. That drastic drop comes after I posted my warning that Stray Radio would not be like Otaku no Radio. Talk about shooting yourself in the foot.

So if you were a listener of OnR, disliked SR, but are still reading this blog - I'd urge you to take a peek at the poll running in the Stray Radio blog right now regarding the future of that show and how the topics will go. If you'd listen to the show if it was an anime-centric show like OnR, please let us know there. The results of that poll won't be 'the' deciding factor in all of this, but we will take a good look at what that poll tells us. It would seem oddly approrpiate to turn SR into an OnR esque show with the Anime Central episode next week... but.. well, we'll see.
